✝️That's the Gospel ✝️

From the beginning, God has been calling man into agreement. "Do this... and I will do this." That’s the consistent rhythm throughout Scripture. But for most, the obstacle was never God—it was agreement. It was belief. Moses said, "I can’t talk." Gideon said, "I’m the weakest in my family." Jeremiah said, "I’m just a boy." Isaiah said, "My lips are unclean." Yet every one of them, in their own way, eventually came into agreement with what God said about them—not what they thought about themselves. That agreement is where everything changed. Agreement Is Righteousness When I was young and found myself in a situation I could not fix, one I was guilty in and unworthy of being rescued from, God showed up and said, "Trust Me." That trust—raw, undeserving, unqualified trust—was everything. Looking back, I know now what it was: It was the same as Abraham’s belief that was counted as righteousness. Not because I had it a...

🌾 When the Strivings Cease

We’ve all been there—doing all we know to do, pouring out energy, showing up day after day, and still coming up empty. Like Peter, fishing all night and catching nothing. Like Martha, running around trying to hold everything together while quietly unraveling inside. Striving is exhausting. But what if God never intended us to live that way? The Better Part In Luke 10, we meet two sisters—Mary and Martha. Martha is busy, burdened, and frustrated, overwhelmed by all the preparations that had to be made to host Jesus. She’s cooking, cleaning, serving—doing her best to make everything perfect. Meanwhile, Mary is found sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening to every word He says. And when Martha complains, Jesus doesn’t scold her hustle—He gently redirects her heart: “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the better part, and it will not be taken from her." (Luke 10:41-42) Mary stopped striving. She chose to be still. ...

Look Again

When It Feels Like Nothing Is Happening, Look Again We’ve all been there—living with longing, carrying frustration, whispering (or maybe shouting) a prayer: “God, can You just fix this already?” Maybe it’s a relationship that feels stuck. A dream that refuses to come to life. A door that won’t open, no matter how hard you knock. And when nothing changes, it’s easy to wonder if you’ve been ignored. Forgotten. Overlooked. But what if something is happening? What if the change you’re waiting for isn’t starting around you— What if it’s starting in you? There’s a pattern, woven into the way life unfolds—and it’s been there since the beginning: Before God gave Adam a partner, He led Adam to realize his need. Before God parted the Red Sea, He told Moses to lift his hand. Before Jesus talked about moving mountains, He talked about the size of our faith. Again and again, the pattern repeats: God hears our cries—and He responds by working in us before He works arou...

Naturally

There’s a phrase that came to me one morning, somewhere between sleep and waking: "You got a natural on the way!" It landed in my spirit with excitement—like a whisper from Heaven. And the more I sat with it, the more I realized it wasn’t just a random phrase. It was a confirmation. I’ve been in pursuit of purpose for most of my life. But if I’m honest, that pursuit was often desperate—striving to prove something, misusing the very talents I was naturally given in an effort to make a name for myself. And while serving time for that pursuit, I discovered things in me that no one taught me. Insights. Truths. Talents, that just came naturally. Then it hit me: that’s the point. Genesis 1:26–28 tells us we were made in the image of God. Before the fall. Before religion. Before shame. We were blessed. And that blessing wasn’t ornamental—it was functional. It was meant to activate our design: Be fruitful Multiply Replenish the earth Subdue it Have dominion We weren’t made to strugg...

God's Desire for Us to Thrive

When we hear or read the words, “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope,” we often stop at the comfort of the promise—but those thoughts aren’t vague. They’re visible. They’re written into the entire story of Scripture. From the Garden to the Kingdom, God’s intention has always been for His people to thrive. In Genesis 2, God didn’t create man and then look for a place to put him—He prepared Eden first, a place of beauty, abundance, and provision. Then He placed man in that garden. That is the heart of the Father: to position His children where they can thrive. Later, when delivering His people from Egypt, He didn’t just bring them out—He brought them in. Into a land flowing with milk and honey, a land He handpicked for them (Deuteronomy 8:7-10). Just like Eden, this land was a reflection of His desire to see His people not just survive, but flourish. We see this truth echoed throughout Scripture. Th...

🕊️ Jesus Wasn’t Religious

🕊️ I didn’t meet Jesus through a preacher. I wasn’t led by a church bulletin, a five-step plan, or a long list of dos and don’ts. I met Him through one simple moment: “If you put your trust in this Guy, He can open a door big enough to drive a train through sideways.” That’s what the man said when he handed me a Bible. Then he told me not to ask him anything about it. Looking back now, I understand why. That moment wasn’t about him — it was about Jesus. ⚠️ The Problem with Religion One of the most surprising things I discovered when I opened that Bible was that Jesus had a problem with religious people . Not the broken. Not the poor. Not the ones with a past. But the ones who looked the part but didn’t know the heart of God. He called them out for loving attention, making rules they didn’t follow, burdening people with shame, and turning relationship with God into a performance. “Do not be like the hypocrites..." – Jesus (Matthew 6:5) “You load people down with burdens you ...

I Believe, But Help My Unbelief

We’ve all heard it—and maybe even said it ourselves: “I just can’t believe in a God who would let so much bad happen in the world.” Pain, injustice, suffering—it’s overwhelming. But if we’re honest, that feeling comes from somewhere deeper than doubt. It comes from hope . From a longing that says, “Surely, if God is real, He should be good. He should care. He should do something.” And that, to me, sounds like belief—just buried under disappointment. What if that ache in us isn’t proof that God isn’t real… but evidence that He is? What if our frustration with the state of the world is actually a reflection of something God already planted in our hearts—a knowing of how things should be? Dominion Starts with Us In the very beginning, God gave humanity dominion over the earth. That wasn’t just a poetic idea—it was a transfer of real responsibility. We were created to care for this world, to steward it, to reflect the goodness of the One who made it. But somewhere along the li...

My Thoughts Toward You

You may not feel like you fit the mold. Maybe you don’t go to church every Sunday. Maybe religion never made much sense to you. But there’s something inside you that still believes God is real. Still hopes He hasn’t forgotten you. Still wonders if there's a place for you in all of this. There is. The Kingdom of God was never about building a club for the perfect. It was never about getting the bad to act good. It was always about bringing the dead back to life. Those whose hope died. Whose years were stolen. Whose joy was buried. Whose strength ran out. The heart of God is not against you. It burns for you. From the beginning, God has always had one desire: to dwell with His people in love, peace, freedom, and abundance. In Eden, He walked with man. In the Promised Land, He promised rest. In Christ, He brought the Kingdom that can never be shaken. The story hasn’t changed—just the chapters. Isaiah 61 says He came for the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, and the prisone...

Never Again Cast Out

There is a deep cry in the human heart to belong. To be loved without fear of rejection. To be known fully and still embraced. And whether we realize it or not, that longing traces back to the very beginning — to Eden, when man walked with God without shame, fear, or hiding. But sin entered the story, and man was driven out. Exile began. From the Garden… from the Promised Land… from the presence of God. And so much of human history has felt like a long road trying to find our way back home. But then came Jesus. “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” — not just a phrase, but the very doorway back into what was lost. He is the Lamb God provided, the Mediator of a new covenant, the One who endured what we could not. And through His sacrifice, something eternal was secured: our place in the house of God. “To the one who overcomes, I will make a pillar in the temple of My God. Never shall he go out of it..." — Revelation 3:12 Never again cast out. Never again separated. Never again left wa...

Point Him Out

We live in a world full of distractions, pressures, and questions about identity and purpose. But the answer has always been the same: seek Him until you see Him. Moses wanted to see God’s glory—and God responded, not with thunder, but with truth: “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness…” (Exodus 34:6) That wasn’t just a description. It was a proclamation —a revelation of who God is. And when we seek Him, this is what we will find. And here’s the stunning part: this is the image we were made in. “Let Us make man in Our image…” (Genesis 1:26) Merciful. Gracious. Patient. Abundant in love. Faithful. That’s our blueprint. That’s our mirror. And yet, how hard it is to believe that’s who we really are. When God Calls, Man Often Hesitates Look through Scripture and you’ll see a pattern: Moses looked at his speech and his past. Gideon looked at his family background. Jeremiah looked at his youth. ...
